Each year, the Educational Foundation of the Colorado Society of CPAs presents the Gold Key Award to one student from your school with the highest cumulative grade point average of any graduating Senior in the School of Accountancy. The Foundation honors the student with a certificate and a small engraved gift for his or her accomplishment.
As a designated representative for your school, please consult with other accounting faculty for their input and select one faculty representative to submit the student nomination. If academic year constraints prevent you from knowing the award winner today, please contact Abbey Aguirre at abbey@cocpa.org to discuss ceremony details.
If you are planning an awards ceremony, please include the name of the presenter for your awards ceremony, and where the COCPA should mail the Certificate and engraved gift. If not, the COCPA will mail directly to the Student recipient.
COCPA will host a virtual awards ceremony for all Gold Key Award recipients, family, friends, and faculty on April 27 at 4:45 pm. More details will be announced as they are available.
